Oxon Hill High School spent Dec. 12 at Glassmanor Elementary School to donate gifts to students in need.

Around 11 a.m., various clubs and organizations from the school came to Glassmanor as part of the Clipper Clause, a charity event for OHHS students — whose school mascot is the Clippers — to donate gifts to students that may not receive many gifts during the holidays, said Jason Flanagan, Oxon Hill High School’s 10th grade English, newspaper and journalism teacher.

Each participating club brought gifts they collected to distribute and the Oxon Hill principal, Jean-Paul Cadet, was dressed as Santa Claus.
