Briana A. Hall, a senior at Charles Herbert Flowers High School, has won the logo contest sponsored by Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) Food and Nutrition Services. As part of National Nutrition Month in March, the department held a logo design contest to promote healthier lifestyles.

More than 100 students submitted entries. Hall’s design, an animated cup-shaped bowl filled with fruits and vegetables, will be used in marketing and promotional materials. She started drawing at age two and has not taken formal art lessons. She said the drawing took about an hour and a half to complete.
