If you're a renter and get a bedbug infestation, one of the first questions you'll ask is: Do I have to take care of extermination, or is that the landlord's responsibility?

Talking about bed bugs is very interesting. What about when you pay good money for a motel and get all kinds of bugs. Try Key West Florida.( Good for Amex) we never paid the bill. The infestation would drive me nuts if I had to live with them. I would call the health department, have them come to see the problem, cite the owner, hold back the rent check, and, If the owner of the building doesn't exterminate your dwelling, call them yourself and send the owner the bill.( If only it was that easy.) I believe that the landlord is responsible. He owns the property; Maybe you can pay the rent with an AMEX card!
